Pre-Enrolment Guidance

STEP01

Choose Your Course

Browse our programs and select the qualification that aligns with your career goals.

Before applying, you must review all relevant pre-enrolment information to make an informed decision about your studies. This includes:

  • Course information (including course structure, course duration, delivery mode, delivery location, entry requirements as well as training and assessment information) (View)

  • Course progress and attendance requirements and associated policy and procedures (View)

STEP02

Submit Application

Download the enrolment application form, complete all required details and send your application form along with supporting documents as specified in the course entry requirements.

The examples of supporting documents include:

Evidence of previous qualifications (The level of qualification must meet the requirement specified in the course entry requirements)
Previous schooling records
Evidence of English language requirement
Passport
Current visa (where applicable)
STEP03

Application Assessment

Once your application is received, it will be assessed against the entry requirements to determine your suitability for the chosen course. If your application meets the course entry requirements, we will contact you and conduct a course entry interview.

Kentford College may also request additional information or documentation during the assessment process.

During this stage, a decision will be made regarding your suitability for the chosen course based on the course entry interview and the supporting documents you have provided.

STEP04

Letter of Offer and Student Agreement

If your application is successful, Kentford College will issue an Offer Letter along with a Student Agreement.

You must carefully review the letter of offer and written agreement to ensure that:

  • Information such as course, duration, fees and payment plans are correctly stated
  • All relevant policies and procedures are understood

Once you have reviewed and understood all the information, including the policies and procedures, sign the student agreement and return it to Kentford College and pay the initial deposit amount stated in the offer letter.

STEP05

Process Payment

Upon receipt of the signed agreement and deposit, Kentford College will process your enrolment and issue your electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).

STEP06

Apply for Visa

Once you have received your electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE), you can apply for your student visa through the Department of Home Affairs.

STEP07

Pre-Arrival Preparation

Before travelling to Australia, you should complete the following preparations:

  • Arrange accommodation
  • Plan your travel
  • Ensure your OSHC (Overseas Student Health Cover) is active from your arrival date
  • Prepare your departure documents (e.g. Passport, Visa, CoE)

STEP08

Orientation

Before commencing your course, all students are required to attend an orientation session at Kentford College. Orientation is designed to ensure you are fully prepared for your studies and familiar with the college environment.

During orientation, you will:

  • Meet the Kentford College team
  • Receive information about your course, timetable, and assessment requirements
  • Learn about campus facilities and resources
  • Understand college policies and procedures, including attendance, course progress, academic integrity, and the Student Code of Conduct
  • Be informed of your rights and responsibilities as a student
  • Gain information on student support services
  • Access guidance on living and studying in Australia, including health cover, safety, and local services

Orientation ensures that you are aware of the support services available, understand expectations, and can begin your studies with confidence.
